Aktris Kim Go Eun ternyata tidak pernah ditawarkan peran apapun untuk versi film webtoon ‘Cheese in the Trap‘.
Hal ini dikabarkan oleh agensi Kim Go Eun, Jangin Entertainment bahwa tidak ada rencana Kim Go Eun untuk berpartisipasi dalam film tersebut. Agensinya mengatakan,”Kim Go Eun berpartisipasi dalam versi drama sebagai pemeran utama ‘Hong Seol’. Akan tetapi, kami tidak pernah menerima berita atau proposal mengenai versi filmnya.”
Versi film ‘Cheese in the Trap’ sudah memulai proses casting, dengan Park Hae Jin yang akan kembali memerankan peran ‘Yoo Jung’. Park Hae Jin berjanji untuk kembali memainkan peran tersebut apabila jalan cerita sesuai dengan karya orisinil seperti di webtoon. Akan tetapi, sepertinya peran ‘Hong Seol’ akan diperankan oleh aktris yang berbeda.
Film ini akan dibawa oleh produser film Lee Dong-ho, yang juga merupakan pengarah film ‘Inside Men’ (2015) dan ‘Architecture 101’ (2012).
