Jun.K menjadi salah satu peserta dalam kompetisi bernyanyi bertajuk ‘King of Masked Singer’ dan identitasnya terungkap dalam episode hari ini 31 Januari.
Ia berhasil masuk ke babak runner up, setelah mengalahkan berbagai pesaingnya pada minggu lalu. Pada babak runner up ini, ia membawakan lagu ‘Mother’ dari Ra.D.
Saat tampil, Jun.K yang menggunakan topeng ‘Dream of the square’ sukses membawa penonton dan para juri terbawa ke dalam suasana, dengan suaranya yang begitu emosional.
Sedangkan Sungjae BtoB berhasil menebak pria dibalik topeng tersebut, dengan menyebutnya sebagai Junsu 2PM. Setelah identitasnya terungkap, Jun.K mengatakan, “Aku sangat kaget saat Sungjae menyebut nama Junsu.”
“Sudah selama 3 tahun ini aku mengubah nama itu. Aku harus mengubahnya, karena keinginan ayahku, tapi ia sudah meninggal dunia. Ibuku juga sedang sakit, jadi aku tidak punya pilihan selain menggantinya. Mulai sekarang aku akan bekerja lebih keras sebagai Jun.K,” ujarnya,
